fyi this person seems sketch as hell - in the other videos of theirs i've been served, seen a lot of conspiracy brain stuff, lot of reactionary undertones and has talked about burning their fingerprints off so that they aren't got by right wing buzzterm for feds

it's a slightly older term that's coming back around with the younger generation on TikTok, and idk personally the implications of being 'plastic', of being fake or being a toy or just generally being a term that is slightly dehumanising is what's getting me

like, i'm not about to start pulling people up about it or anything, it's on-going discourse and i can't always expect everything to be stuff im comfortable with but it really is just one of those older terms that I think should've stayed old

im cool with that, as long as the community is chill :) i might give it a go

i get weird vibes from so many of the trans influencers that get traction, like there are a few who are good but idk

also maybe this is just me being old or something, but along those lines there's something about the 'doll' stuff that's gotten popular that gives me the ick idk

did I do something man? needlessly hostile to a stranger on the internet, on a niche forum so ostensibly we share more in common than not, feels unwarranted no?
