Man, I missed you complaining about the BE NORMAL people. depressing that would-be revolutionaries ever had that as a slogan lmao

I will never forget, nor forgive, that smug piece of shit that one New Years night that had that "I love you all, but you need to go out and kiss a stranger and BE NORMAL, otherwise you're an embarrassment to my arbitrarily determined standards of One True Leftism" post that was so toxic that it drove a number of people off of Hexbear and some never returned and for days afterward some toxic douchebag fans/alts of that same piece of shit were bullying people and calling them "shut ins" and of course chanting "touch grass."

When I came back from my own little celebration a few hours later, which was done in a careful, measured way with a small group of masking friends because we were at the height of the pandemic which still hasn't fucking gone away and perhaps never will; I saw that post and got some weapons-grade concern trolling sent my way for trying to stick up for "shut ins." I received all the chud-style hits from that user's supporters in the next few hours, such as accusing me of mental illness (because leftism is about denigrating and invalidating non-neurotypical people, totally) because it was THAT IMPORTANT to be "normal" for the sake of... fuck it, I'll just say their name.

If @RonJeremyCorbyn@hexbear.net is still here, on an alt or lurking... they have the unique distinction of being the one former regular user I have despised most on this entire site for all time because of that incident and I'm not afraid to let them know that. I don't remember the names of the sycophantic shitlings that clumped together with them during that thread, but if they're still around I hope they had time for introspection and regret for what they had done.
