I know it may be a lot of users' first time using something that is decentralized like this. As I've been a Fediverse user for some time, I had been waiting for a big migration like this to happen as it usually happens with Twitter every now and again. Welcome to Fedi, hope you enjoy your stay!

I feel like the lack of nsfw content and the somewhat prudish attitude towards it is hurting the potential of lemmy. It was a huge part of reddit even if some dont want to admit that

There's an entire instance dedicated to NSFW content. If you check the Show NSFW box in your profile settings and browse the All feed, you'll see it popping up.

Ok, I had activated that and joined the instance but nothing was showing up. Must be another jerboa problem :/

Well, that's where the decentralization comes in. There's NSFW instances out there, just gotta find em.

Lack? In nsfw? Clearly not a lemmynsfw.com enjoyer😔

damn really? I blocked like a billion instances already to stop seeing porn before I decided to turn off NSFW altogether (on Reddit sometimes good not porn content was marked NSFW also, so turning it off was not ideal)
