Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

In all honesty, I think Starbucks does pretty well in providing resources and perks to staff members. But their shitty behavior with creating unions is disgusting.
And staff members, when you're arguing for your $1-2 raise... Remember that this guy is making $85 mil. And Chipotle has gone to shit.
it's not enough to offset the shit pay which is made even shittier when they send you home early if it's "not busy" for 20 minutes, which leaves 3 people doing the work of 5 people when it inevitably gets busy after people were sent home. so customers come in to a store where everyone's all out of fucks to give about anyone's 20 syllable bougie bullshit latte, and say "maybe i'll go somewhere else next time," and baristas say "please fucking do"
Id prefer they paid living wages. And allowed staff to unionise. Those are basic minimums
Chipotle really has gone to shit, so this surprised me. I can't even read my receipt at most local Chipotles in order to fill out their feedback survey and tell them as much...
He's making more than $85m. Far more. This is just for taking the job.
