UPS handles most of Amazon's deliveries.
While that was true a number of years ago, I don't think it is anymore. Amazon has their own shipping network. They've been working to replace UPS by shipping the packages themselves. At least that's how it was last time I worked with them.
And as others have said all my Amazon purchases are delivered directly by Amazon either in a white van or an Amazon branded delivery truck similar to a UPS truck.
Sheesh. There will be no other companies except Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and a few social media companies in 20 years. Amazon is even doing health insurance now.
Everyone says that every decade but in every industry there are more companies than before.
I've never had that experience but I don't know about anywhere other than my own area.
Amazon definitely does contract out the to other carriers, depends on volume and where you live.
Source: Sometimes they go through USPS who won't deliver packages to my apartment and I get to make a trip to the USPS and force the poor old lady to lift a box of cat litter I'm subscribed to.
Edit: Car to cat lol
I don't think vehicles are supposed to be using litter boxes normally.
Mine does But mine is a litter weird
Yeah sounds like a location thing for sure. I've only ever ordered to addresses that are within 100 miles of a warehouse
I think in my case it was due to peak times, there's several warehouses near here, I used to work at one lol
I've never had ups deliver Amazon to me
therefore it must be false
All of ours are delivered by Amazon themselves
