Funny, I would think the person deleting his comment due to downvotes is the sensitive snowflake.

It's because of the karma system on reddit. It's easy to start caring about that and then the downvotes matters.

I guess here on Lemmy it doesn't actually matter.

I actually enjoyed collecting downvotes as much as upvotes. Not that I would specifically try for it, I just spoke my mind.
