Stupid fuck didn't even check to see if she was a Trump supporter before he did it. And she was. I'm guessing not so much anymore.

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 54 points 2 months ago

Wait she is? So this is more of a leopard ate her face moment?

[–] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 51 points 2 months ago

I have less empathy for her because her support of Trump shows that she only cares when she's the victim.

[–] CeruleanRuin@lemmings.world 34 points 2 months ago

You underestimate how stupid these people can be.

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I'm sure she will still vote for Trump. They all roll over for him, every one.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That highly depends on whether or not she was true MAGA or just voted party line. Trump is shedding the latter as voters. Much like people on the left with Biden, they're starting to plan to just sit out the election.

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

We'll see. I've seen too much blind loyalty to expect that to happen in any significant numbers. This is a turnout game for Democrats, they need to get huge numbers.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Why do you think they need to get huge numbers when many previous elections were literally determined by a few thousand people?

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Because Republicans turn out.

Because Republicans have installed corrupt election officials in many locations who will refuse to certify or fuck with ballots.

It needs to be way past 50%+1. Look at what's happening in Georgia. Look at all the MAGA secretaries of state. This isn't 2000 any more, we have an active fascist party that's already tried one coup.

Well it's not going to be massive. That's just the reality. If she wins, it will not be by a lot. She will almost certainly win the popular vote though.
