In Candyman, the scene where Tony Todd had bees flying out of his mouth were REAL BEES. Todd only agreed to do the scene if they pay him $1000 for every bee sting. He earned $27,000 for that scene (files.catbox.moe)

You could be right, but they literally shove the drones out to die when winter comes so I don't think they value them all that highly compared to the workers which are the stinging ones.
