The players bodies tend not to be developed to play at this intensity of the top division and you can see that with a few of them. Also the injury situation there shows that. There's decent potential with the squad but no experience, no long term vision and no depth in the squad. I think they will do well up to the midseason and then crash and burn.
Personally I don't hold much hope beyond challenging Real Madrid for the title, and maybe a fun run in the Champions League, but the potential beyond this season is absolutely there. And seeing La Masia kids get a chance reminds of the glory days when most of the team was from the academy.
The risk of injuries from being over played is absolutely there though. Missing out on Club World Cup may be a blessing in disguise for the youngsters.
