I fell into a rabbit hole and started watching Warhammer lore videos a few years ago and then something - I don't know exactly what, maybe tone of voice or word choices - made me fall into another rabbit hole of searching for the content creators + feminism to see if they had gone on some insane rant and so many of them had made a "very special video" on the subject.
Bruva Alfabusa was a fun time with his "If The Emperor Had A Text To Speech Device" series... until Games Workshop lawyered that to death. :(
There's so many things in that series I choose to believe are canon.
The Ultramarine commander being deeply depressed because of the sheer plot armor and absurd win rate of his forces
I read books about Cato Sicarius and they just seems terribly uncanonical after TTS (they are also really bad bolter slop and typical example of overblown marine personality cult).
Yeah that was fun, but i recently look at what he produces since and man it was miserable experience, he should just disappear after TTS ended.
I can understand not liking world of darkness buts a bit of an extreme reaction to content that isn't your jam.
I do like world of darkness, its like my second rpg ever (though i prefer mage and vampire in it, and rather the old editions than new ones) i just find the distance between TTS and this grotesque
He did want to just "disappaer" after the TT series ended but the internet stormed his patreon on mass. Its not just Alfabusa anymore and they aren't just limited to a single series anymore. That being said its understandable if it reminds you too much of TTS to watch (as far as Im aware they could continue making TTS along side this the moment GW stops being a baby) though I personally like the things can they do with these characters without the chud restrictions of the warhammer brand (like just causally making most of the cast openly queer) more. I'd like to recommend you watch there more orginal tabletop mage series hopefully its more for you.
Oh i didn't noticed he made something about mage, i will look. But wierd how GW stomped good things but youtube is still choke full of various fanmade content. And recently even some 50-minute movie about Dark Angels came which is afaik also fanmade and they allowed it? My theory is that they don't allow something that have better lore and plot and theirs lol.
The HTP series is also kinda mage adjacent since they're hunters from the Arcanum.
Theres things like this.
And they have a half life series with two epsiodes. Lmao I felt a bit bad saying that because talked up the whole not being limited to one series thing but they've pumped out so much shit I forgot you'd usually get a TTS episode every half a year if you were lucky. Im not surprised, in hindsight if you thought Hunter the Parenting was some cheap knockoff or something.
