Why are you reviving 3 day old thread that you've already replied to? He deserved the second yellow for the foul regardless of the kick of the ball after the whistle.
Reply: Maybe, but that's not why he was booked, and if you're going to book him for that then we should have seen 3 more yellows for similar contact in the first half to set the tone properly, instead of only punishing this instance. On top of that, see my second yellow comment; sending a player off should require a higher bar than this. On top of all of that, the official stance is that he was sent off for delaying the restart. And I'm not even going to begin to describe the number of times a City player delayed a free kick/throw in and wasn't punished with even a first yellow. I'm done with that.
