Looking for something I can use to wear to have audio from bluetooth that doesn't get in the way as a side-sleeper

I'm surprised so many people wear earpods while sleeping. Do you not have alarms in the morning that you need to hear? Is there a reason you can't have a white noise machine?

I think actual anything going on or in ear is probably a no for me. I'm trying a small portable/wired bluetooth speaker in a few places like in pillow, may try a headband but if speaker works, cat also likes it so thats a plus for it too lol
