We have four now. We have had three before and that was fine. My wife went to pick up our new third and the guy says he's going to take the remaining brother to the shelter so she brought both home.
I enjoy the chaos but my wife does not.
Just moved in with my girl. 3 + 2 =5 cats! Its...a bit much. I think 2 or three is the sweet spot. But they're all indoor only which adds to the chaos. Maybe a giant catio, and only certain ones were allowed inside? ๐ค
Three is sort of the limit for me. My parents had 3 for a while. My brother has 3. 2 is better if they get along. 1 is by far the easiest since I'm home a lot and enjoyed playing with me more than the cat that stayed with my ex. The amount of cleaning up is far, far, far less with one.
