I would say the "let people die" thing would make him not a good dude.

Well, I'm sure he changed his mind when it came to that sort of thing. After all, he was only- *checks* 57 at the time.
I once had a Ron Paul supporter threaten me with her leashed, pet monkey--she said it didn't like people who didn't support Ron Paul. The majority of those people were next-level loons.
They very much were. And I'm guessing many of them are now Trump's most fervent supporters.
Yep, the Tea Party stuff really helped pave the way for the current bullshit very directly.
