For example, I've been reading in depth about reverse engineering lately and improving my web h4ck1ng skills by playing CTFs. And every night before bed, I read philosophy to stay sane. I'm currently reading "Negative Dialectics" by Theodor W. Adorno.

I understand. Electronic components are usually cheap, but equipment is not. When I was a teenager and started learning electronics, I blew up a lot of components because I didn't have equipment to measure current (I didn't have the money to buy it either) and sometimes my calculations failed. But I always had fun.
A groove box would be a really cool project. I hope everything goes well for you.
Thanks I’ve really been struggling a lot and I’ve been very depressed so I kind of didn’t do anything the first month so I failed my first test. It made me feel even worse but I kind of used it as a wake up call to actually try. I’m feeling better now and I’ve been able to start studying and I don’t feel as overwhelmed as I did. I’m not that young anymore and I think all the dumb shit I did for the last 16 years fucked up my brain a little bit, but I’m lucky that I have people supporting me. Thanks for the kind words.
