Scream is from 1995
Probably one of the most influential music videos of all time. Song wasn’t even that good tbh, but that music video changed everything for a long time.

Well Scream created the Y2K aesthetic which peaked in 2000/2001. There's also the very very Scream-like Whats It Gonna Be video with Janet Jackson and Busta Rhymes, which is from 1998 and was probably still in circulation in 2000.
