I'm trying compile (for instructional use) a set of very vivid/egregious/horrifying examples of consent manufacturing in the Western media. Stuff like this:

I'm fairly sure adam johnson posted a pithy image about how gazans are killed while israelis are murdered

another one I've seen is the before 2022/after 2022 coverage of ukrainian nazis. there was an amalgam of 12-20 headlines from before 2022 talking about ukrainian far right nationalists (nazis) vs post 2022 coverage

if you want to be super current, you could probably find headlines from before this week talking about HTS stoning people and generally being awful, contrast it with the fawning interviews jolani has gotten this week where he's portrayed as woke al qaida
