As long as the original intention of "beer money" (eg: side cash through crowdwork is included). I don't know if a comm entirely filled with referral links would get many visitors.
Take a look at the r/beermoney subreddits. Lots of visitors.

There's lots of top level posts on there, but the "users online", as well as upvotes is extremely low, which makes me think that a lot of people are posting into the void. You could be right, but the lack of participation that I'm seeing gives me a bit of pause. Having it be more functional than a link dump might be beneficial.
Nah, those ones are all garbage. r/beermoneyUK at least is strictly moderated so only worthwhile stuff gets through.
