This is the real reason for the ban.

"National security" just translates to "public opinion of the war(s)"

Its more simplified to "lack of ability to control the narrative" and also "My billionaire masters cant turn a profit from it"

It has diverted traffic and money away from sites such as Twitter, FB and Amazon after TT videos called them out and offered alternatives or avoiding completely/anticonsumerism perspectives.
