Look this is bad, but if Ursula K LeGuin introduced a planet where trees are currency I’d love that shit.
That's the difference between saying some random Jaden Smith bullshit that popped into your head and actually thinking and doing world building.
A sort of neo-feudalism based off of ownership of trees (and the land they're on) being used in terraforming perhaps.
