Why can't they have the same rights as a person, tho? ๐ค
Because then they'd be considered corporations.
Counterargument: rights of the people in the US ain't doing so great...
Then everyone would be required by law to address the elephant in the room.
Finally! My living room is way too small for elephants.
Thecnically because they would have the same responsibilities.
IE you cant accuse an elephant of murder. So if you get trampled by one. It is an accident and the zoo or no one if in the wild. Is responsible. Not poor Nelly who just wanted a walk.
