TIL that ozito are not cheap chinese crap, but actually rebadged german einhells, which explains why my $99 hammer drill is still blasting arse after fifteen years of heavy abuse

I rate them. They're good!

Interesting. I have a 14-year-old Ozito whipper snipper that still works just fine.

It doesn't get much use these days because our current place needs something heavier-duty, but I beat the crap out of that thing for a decade and it's never missed a beat.

the only ozito tool I've ever had die was a garden shredder, that was nearly three years after the fact and they immediately refunded me. They do not fuck around

Got the 18v blower, hedge trimmer, cylinder mower and angle grinder. Took photos with the receipt of each at purchase. Returned the cylinder mower with a fault, bunnings replaced it with minimal hassle. The angle grinder has a bit of chatter (disc shake) on it but it's never been a problem for around the house.

apparently they have a deal with bunnings to make replacements as easy as possible. They'd rather have a few used and abused tools returned and have people think they are great than argue over abuse or misuse.
