Out of Context Comics

Comic panels taken out of comics so we can make fun of them!! We love the golden age stuff!

Rules:

  1. Comics must come from actual comic books. No AI or Photoshops.

  2. Single panels are preferred.

  3. Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

  4. Don't be a dick.

  5. I can't believe I've had to add this... NO RACISM.

I know the context, and this is evidence that I've wasted a significant portion of my limited time of this earth reading some stupid comics.

Not op, but Warlock Vol 1 Issue 9

If you want to read the whole arc (which is one of my favorites, but I'm a weirdo), it starts with Strange Tales Vol 1 178-181, then Warlock 9 and on. Warlock issues 1-8 are from years earlier. All very confusing.

The issue 1000 Clowns is about how much Jim Starlin hated working for Marvel, it's pretty great.

Edit: Also, this story is the first appearance of one of the Infinity Gems (the Soul Gem specifically), and ties in strongly to the Infinity Gauntlet and it's sequel series, also written by Starlin. And the first appearance of Gamora.

Edit 2: Okay I'm crazy, Adam Warlock had the Soul Gem way earlier. This still leads into Infinity Gauntlet though.

I can dig. I'm absolutely on the exact opposite of this spectrum (DC 4lyfe) but I appreciate someone nerding to low-key anything.
