In suggesting that Democrats were wrong about trans athletes and cozying up to MAGA favorites, Newsom's presidential ambitions are more craven than ever.

He knows the old game is over. Barron and Jnr have no support, and the Oligarchs need a figurehead to take the heat, so why not Gavin?
