Note the .ml.

Not all the people on that instance are crazy assholes, but whenever I see a crazy or assholish take on a post, it almost always has a .ml attached.

There might be a bias as you don't see the instance for accounts on your instance after their username. I've seen plenty of quite aggressive people from all instances.
