A feature that's carried over from reddit is utterly random downvotes sometimes
The only way to stop that is to remove the downvote button.
People will always fat-finger or vote based on emotion.
I'm convinced there are people out there that just downvote everything. They get some kind of chemical release in their brains when they hit the downvote button. You could say "being happy feels good" and someone out there will downvote it.
I would say they just fat-fingered it. hopefully.
I think it's fat fingering then others dont think for themselves and just go with whatever it already is.
Feels awful when you had a creative comment but just didn't spell it out well enough and it gets like 3 downvotes 🥲
like noo I didn't mean it in a bad way, I just like falling asleep to technical videos and that's a compliment coming from me 😭😭
They are, I wish them sometimes when I know the person. It's quite nice
