Makes me suspect they're not even playing that ballgame anymore. The only thing scarier than a rich person's unquenchable avarice is a rich person who has decided money isn't enough.

They're intentionally crashing the economy so the working class and wealthy have to sell up. Then the mega wealthy buy everything cheap (think: farm land, real estate, supermarket chains, transport, housing) once they own everything they will charge us anything and we will be living paycheck to paycheck but existing on credit.

Similar to now but there will be zero regulations. No work safety. No food safety. No electronics QC. No building safety standards and no recourse for compensation when the inevitable deaths and injuries occur because the owners are the rulers.

I'm cynical, I believe they'll rebound in the short term... And the worker class will be all the worse for it... I certainly hope I'm wrong though.
