I don't think they advocated for it, I think they said, "now that you have it, learn from it".

by their comments, apparently the rest of the world has been hoping the us would fully fall to internal fascism and genocide its minorities like immigrants, trans people, political dissenters, and most likely far more. this is just advocacy for genocide.

I looked through their comments going back 2 months, and I can't find that. They are clearly very bitter and anti-US, but I don't see anything from them that is anti-minority. The US is en route to doing those things you listed, and yet I don't see us on the Left out using force to prevent it currently. I think they are just indelicately stating their hope that our current trajectory is enough to wake us up collectively as Americans from our ineffectiveness in opposing our government's evils abroad.

The comment directly above mine that you responded to has "a lesson the rest of the world has been waiting for you to learn". and the first comment is "hope you enjoy", among others. No, they arent directly stating they want the people being harmed to be genocided, but they are giddy at the idea and are acting like it's a good thing. indelicate, maybe, effectively advocation for genocide, yes, intended or not (i assume not).

leftists certainly are out in great numbers and more by the day, unprecedented protests that are working but it's not nearly enough, no.

Who is going to learn from this? The people who voted for this? The people whose entire narrative revolves around a sense of victimhood? Even as they're being wronged by this government they still don't get it. And people who are disproportionately affected by Trump's rule are not going to be WASP republican voters, they're going to be Black, brown, queer, disabled, immigrants, and so on.

Nothing is going to be learned here and the people most severely impacted by this nor did they want or deserve this. So chomping at the bit for "just desserts," comes off as quite misguided.

Who is going to learn from this?

This video is blowing up, so it's not like only Beehaw users are going to see it. Plenty of Centrists and neolib democrats are seeing this behavior, and it has the potential to disabuse them of the notion that the US government is good. Will some of them look at it and just think, "anyone but Trump and this wouldn't happen"? Sure, but plenty will realize that this is the same government that did Rodney King, Kent State, Blair Mountain, etc (as well as all the international abuses and evil we enable and perpetrate), and it's just a matter of time before it turns on them.

So chomping at the bit for “just desserts,”

Once again, saying "look at what they're actively doing to you right now, that's what they've been doing to us non-Americans all along", is not advocating or wishing for that abuse, it's advocating and wishing for people to wake up to the abuse.
