It's going to be funny if Qualcomm does start a price war because they're is 0% chance that China will let it result in Huawei abandoning it's new line of R&D. Which means it will just result in strengthening China and weakening the US. Similar to the way that the imperialists force SA to sell oil cheap so it can be taxed more in the importing country.

Exactly, having a domestic supply chain is a matter of national security for China, and US provided a powerful demonstration of the risks involved relying on western tech. This isn't just a lesson for China, but for the rest of the world as well. Any countries that aren't vassals of US already are more likely to lean towards Chinese tech going forward.
