Another beautiful spring day.

Sun’s out, the breeze is soft, and I’m out front doing something that’s become one of my favorite little rituals, which is tidying up the Little Free Library I installed by the sidewalk in front of my house.

If you’ve never seen one, a Little Free Library is a smal sharing library where anyone can take a book or leave one. That’s it. No strings, no rules, just a quiet kind of exchange that runs on trust and goodwill.

Mine's been up for a while now, and it stays pretty busy. People stop by all the time while on walks, with their kids, sometimes just pausing for a minute on their way home from work.

Today, I wiped down the shelves, rearranged a few of the paperbacks, pulled out a damaged book that had clearly seen better days, and tucked in a few fresh titles I had lying around.

Nothing complicated.

But there's something really peaceful about it. It feels good to care for something that belongs to everyone, in a way. And knowing that strangers are finding stories, passing them on, maybe even discovering a new favorite book right here on my lawn.

Makes the world feel a little more connected. A quiet, steady feeling of doing something that matters in a small way.

On a day like this, it’s enough. :)
