Depends on the state. But if you shoot a cop, regardless of how justified, your next 10 years, should you see them, are going to suck. And the following 10 are iffy.
These are the cops who are whisking people away to El Salvador with the intent of leaving them there forever. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.
But if you shoot ALL the cops?
There's guys who successfully used self defense and didn't do significant time.
Okay, and how much were they harassed by the angry swine in their neighborhood? I specifically did not mention incarceration.
