It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Lots of solid improvements. I have an XP3 that I pre-ordered 2.5 years ago and it still works great. I've definitely put money in to upkeep/upgrades with better tires, brakes, brake pads, headlight, and more. It has over 550 miles on it and keeps going.

Some things I'd love to see from the standpoint of a user that actually folds their bike and stuffs it in to a vehicle...

  1. 68 lbs. is heavy (yes I know they make a lite version but it's too limited).
  2. Add a catch that locks the folded halves together, makes it more secure when lifting and transporting a folded bike (I use these ROK Straps 12'-42' Adjustable Pack Strap but having something integrated would be nice)
  3. Add bump-stops or something to prevent metal on metal scraping when folded (I stick a piece of cardboard or styrofoam in between)

My Portola just has a cloth strap to keep it together folded, works well enough.
