Once a while ago, I saw someone building a triplex. It took a few years. They left their 2x4 and 2x6 over winter and in rain for years. They were indeed cuppy and warped
I shudder to think that the house was actually built with that wood, the pile slowly disappeared over the years so maybe they were trying to build the crooked house for the crooked man from the nursery rhyme lol
