What is a Tankie?

Basic Rules:

Apologia — (Using the Modern terminology for Apologia) No Defending, Denying, Justifying, Bolstering, or Differentiating authoritarian acts or endeavours, whether be a Pro-CCP viewpoint, Stalinism, Islamic Terrorism or any variation of Tankie Ideology.
Revisionism — No downplaying or denying atrocities past and present. Calling Tankies shills, foreign/federal agents, or bots also falls under this rule. Extremists exist. They are real. Do not call them shills or fake users as it handwaves their extremism.
Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.
Off-topic Discussion — Do not discuss unrelated topics to the point of derailing the thread. Stay focused on the direct content of the post as opposed to arguing.
You'll be warned if you're violating the instance and community rules. Continuing poor behaviour after being warned will result in a ban or removal of your comments. Bans typically only last 24 hours, but each subsequent infraction will double the amount. Depending on the content, the ban time may be increased. You may request an unban at any time.
Not that there's anything wrong with content warnings. But you'd think people who actively celebrate massacres and call for the death of others can handle a children's cartoon lol
You are generalizing bull crap again.
People that join to watch /c/movies together aren't necessarily watching a kids advertising show to get PTSD again at things people do get phobias with.
Content warnings are great, EVEN WHEN STUDYING HISTORY. If you do find that hexies SHOULD content warn their communities more, TAKE IT TO THEIR /c/META. There’s no irony here, just disagreements on what phobias should or not be warned upon.
E.g., I'm vegan, and did I report you for your KFC comment? No because I comprehended the context of your derisive joke. Should you have content warned for it? That's a question you have to face with your administrators and sh.itjust.works users.
These are fair generalisations considering examples of their bigotry and irony have been posted all across this community.
No one can comment on Hexbear or any tankie instance because they remove all forms of dissent. You can make these issues known if you want, but you won't get anywhere. I also like how you're equating watching corporate childrens media with studying history lol.
