Ugh this isn't entirely related, but as someone who walks a lot, I hate these. If you're already building infrastructure, why not separate it.
It's wide roads, the optimal is obviousely dedicated bike routes, but you really can't make pedestrians not walk on them
The best they can do is like, paint them up with a bike section and a pedestrian section.
Honestly it's not been an issue so far
This is a standard intersection, at no point do I drive on the road
Oh yeah when I'm biking it doesn't matter at all. I've just been run into a few times walking on them. It also sick that like every 5th person rides by so close you have to stop in your tracks so they don't crash into yiu. But to be fair, it happens on sidewalks too.
