Idk the death penalty seems worse than forgiveness idk

All I’m saying. There are worse things than death. The death penalty only benefits the living relatives and friends of the person or persons murdered. Once the convicted killer is killed. They don’t care anymore. Also, just because you forgive them doesn’t mean you don’t still punish them.

That’s without getting into things like literal cost, or wrongful conviction rates, etc.

That's just an easy out for the person being killed.

Exactly. It's a punishment alright, but it's an easy way out compared to the suffering one could inflict if they really wanted to
