I’ve got slack on masking after keeping it up for so long. Wondering if it would be weird to start wearing one again during flu season.

Of course it’s not weird to not want to get sick but you know, it’s not the norm to wear face masks in Australia like it is in Asia. And it’s rare to see them now. People would probably stare, assume you were sick, or it might provoke the cooker type.

Then again I really don’t think I’d fare well with the flu.

Please do. We wear. No stares.

lots of people are wearing masks , no one will bat an eyelid

I’ve seen Some people wear masks still.

I don’t think it’s strange, epically since we weren’t through a period of the majority of us having experiencing it back during the first outbreaks.

Understandable as well at the moment because of the recent news of the covid strain being a bit more aggressive.

I still see plenty of people wearing masks, it isn't weird

I still do in crowded places. And I would in more if I had more serious health issues (or still had immunocompromised peeps in my life). The biggest reaction I have had was someone moving away from me on a train when I was masked and had a random coughing fit Which is fair.

And I went to inspect an office the other day. Real estate dude rocks up. Clearly Ill. Overhear him on the phone while we are inspecting "you sick? Oh have you got what I have?". No mask, shook my hand (before I realised). 😡😡

So protect yourself!
