Not in the US. Most have stalls with walls that start about a foot off of the floor and end around 6' up.

We still have those, they are just less common depending on where you are. The most common bathroom type by far is single use bathrooms. This isn't really an actual issue, just a fact one made up by bigots.

Afaik it's mainly for ventilation purposes. The openings on the bottom and top create a path for air to flow.

Yeah this would never work in the States since there is no dime sized gap where you can lock eyes with other patrons.

This is the real problem, not transgender people. When they're done covering up the gaps, can they also please install a really loud fan? I want to fart openly and with gusto.
