How do you put a password on a folder?
Encrypted zip
Doesn't prevent deletion though
Need ACL for that
Put it on a second user account. Personally I have all my stuff like documents and pictures on a removable usb drive that I unplug when I'm not using my pc.
Just a friendly reminder: thumb drives kinda' suck as reliable storage. Especially ones that get carried around a lot. I've had soo many thumbdrives, from many different brands, of many different supposed qualities, all stop working mysteriously some day. Some not even more than a few months old.
All that is to say... make sure they're backed up somewhere else that's not also a thumb drive!
Yeah thanks its a good reminder. I make sure to follow the rule of 3 for anything important, primary source, local backup, remote backup.
