need some new boots, the hiking boots I got from costco split in half of the bottoms after 6 months of daily use. I dont need anything steel toe or super heavy doody but I do need something waterproof and durable. I drive a paratransit bus for work in the PNW so Im constantly getting out of the bus to help customers and it rains and is wet a lot.

I have had great experiences with Oboz, but to be honest I'd say get a more breathable pair for now because the waterproof lining is always the first thing to go in a pair of shoes anyway so having them during the summer will mostly just wear them out and make your shoes a little swampier than they need to be.

edit: only applies if you can tolerate a few more days of rain across the next couple of weeks. I know parts of the PNW are in drought conditions and the fairly predictably "dry season" should be from now until octoberish
