Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

I'm honestly taken aback at this point by the amount of backlash Mamdani's been getting. I don't even think it was this bad against Bernie. Aside from his stance on the genocide (which is honestly still quite moderate compared to what's happening) what he's been saying has been really quite milquetoast socdem reforms and probably half of America are acting like he's going to do 9/11 2 on his first day in office. This is a sick sick country.

People were pretty messed up about Obama when he was running (and he had no other aspirations other than becoming king of the establishment ghouls)

If anything this is similar to the level of racism he went through. I remember the “Barrack Hussein Obama” line being played over and over, people speculating that a skinhead would assassinate him, that he only did so well because black people voted for him just because he was black, and even white people being scared that him winning meant that every white person would be jailed for some reason.

I think Hillary wanted to run an ad where his skin changes color whenever he enters a room and she threw a tantrum after being told that wasn’t a good idea. Her campaign pushed plenty of racism on its own as well.

The birther conspiracy about Obama was started in Clinton's camp too, or at the very least amongst her most high profile supporter.
