Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

The problem is that women are a minority on Lemmy. So when men freely post in a women's community then we end up with a community that mostly consists of men's voices. It doesn't matter how sympathetic and supportive they are, in the end the women get drowned out again and the male viewpoint is the one that is carried into the world (from a community named women's stuff).
I'm very glad that there are lots of supportive men out there, but this just isn't the space for it.
Excellent point well made
It's a community for women. We're not so hard up that we need men to come in and be sympathetic. Sometimes we just want a kiki with other ladies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you were so damned supportive, you wouldn't be forcing your way into a space clearly marked as not for you. Jesus.
Yes. Allies who go against specific wishes of those they claim to be allied with are no allies
Exactly. An ally ioo cannot be self labeled that way, they must always be labelled that way by the community they are purporting to support.
Yes we've been blessed with some incredibly supportive men! Sadly we get a lot of attacks from the manosphere, particularly on anything feminist or about men abusing us. We've had many really nasty comments, DMs and reported posts... doesn't bother me, but does bother other members.
