This is what Grover Furr wrote back to me when I asked him about this on June 5, 2019:

Since Khrushchev did not accuse Stalin of this in his 1956 "Secret Speech," I did not deal with it in Khrushchev Lied.

I have looked into it in some depth — enough to say that there's pretty good evidence that Stalin had a son while in exile in Siberia. I don't think anyone denies this.

What is not determined is Lidia Pereprygina's age when she had the child.

Anticommunists would like to say that she was as young as possible, say, 13 or 14. That is the only reason that this story continues to circulate — to make Stalin a "pedophile," or something.

In fact, LP's age when Stalin and she began to live together is not clear.
