It's not explicitly a painting of the Trail of Tears, but it was painted about 40 years after that dark chapter of our history, and it features White Americans chasing Native Americans into the darkness, so it's hard to imagine that anyone who likes the painting isn't at least okay with the Indian Removal Act. Best case scenario, they don't know their history. Worst case scenario (I think there's pretty good evidence that we're here), they want to do it again.
