the cheese forge. this helps the fridge-cold cheese melt thoroughly.

Forge gives something shape. This is a cheese crucible.

A forge heats something up and a crucible contains it while it is heating so I think the OP is correct and you are mistaken.

Oh, I didn't realize a forge also melted. I thought the primary melting was done in a crucible then poured into a form to be forged. Thanks for clarifying!
