I love all my grandparents, but they spent their entire lives uncritically voting in conservative governments for purely religious affiliative reasons. It's very interesting seeing the younger pair, who are still alive, coming to terms with what their end of life care is going to be.

I have a friend who works in care homes and a lot of old people are wondering why none of their caretakers are native Canadians; those that are never stay long. Everywhere is understaffed. Nobody wants to pay close to living wage so only TFWs and immigrants can afford to work there.
