Certainly. The actual title is clickbait. People expect to see somethig about the bird saying something that leads to the gang or such.

Nope. They taught it to say some drug lingo. It mentioned it being on videos so maybe it presence with different people provided some sort of connection between individuals but im doing total conjecture now and the article does not suggest that other than talking about them having video of it and that it was taught to learn drug slang.
