It may just be the picture, but his skin definitely looks rougher than Malcolm McDowell's does. Whether or not that's really the case or just how the two photos have been lit, processed, etc. idk. I don't think he looks bad for 57 necessarily, probably just spent too much time in the sun without adequate protection.

In fair-skinned people, sun damage can cause a lot of photo aging if they don't use sunscreen. My guess is that he didn't use a lot of sunscreen. Also, facial fat and loose skin on the neck really make you look older. McDowell is fairly lean, but you can tell that Hall is carrying some excess weight.
