Did I buy the remake of THPS 1+2? Yes.

In your defense they changed the controls!
The timing on reverts feels way different to me.
Why would they do such a thing?
It’s not a simple upscale, they remade 1 and 2 and unified the controls based on 2 and 3 more or less. It’s really nice actually. Maintains the spirit but it’s a pretty fresh game still.
You can always play Zork still....

My system isn't new enough to play Zork Zero and those newfangled graphical zorks
The remake was awesome. Captured that same feel and made my hand hurt. Though my PS1 controller was way sturdier than the PS4 controller I now played with, since the latter broke lol
I'm getting to be "that age" now, and aside from getting used to a different controller, I was up and running like it was the early nineties again.
I envy you from the bottom of my soul.
