It's amusing to see how nobody is able to genuinely answer this question.
Because its a monopoly.
There are other sites, but neither viewers nor content creators are seeking them out.
YouTube is a shining example for the network effect.
No I've tried all alternatives and they are really bad.
How does that contradict what I said?
